After being laid off from a corporate position in Human Resources, I started on a journey that would introduce me to a wonderful new creative world! I went to broadcast school to start a second career. I studied radio and television, and while in school, I interned at a voiceover production studio and worked at a cable access station. I learned to edit, put spots together, shoot video, run a camera, write, and more! I went from there to work for an NBC affiliate as a producer, weekend anchor, and reporter. I honed my on-camera skills and got my first taste of emcee work there.

While honing my voice-acting skills, I knew I needed to learn how to run a business, not a hobby. So I dove into sales, marketing, and business training. I started working more in front of the mic as an on-camera actor, hand model, and emcee.

The road from corporate to creative wasn’t always an easy one, and I discovered that by working to change my mindset, I would be able to build the kind of career I wanted - one that centered around using my creative abilities to make money and enjoy life the way I want to.

And in 2017, I started coaching freelancers and small business owners on how to grow their businesses. Since then, I have coached hundreds of freelancers from various creative backgrounds - including voice acting - providing them with the confidence and training they need to reach their creative goals. I’ve been fortunate enough to build a successful business doing what I love, and I’ll continue to help others do the same.
